Basic Rider Course - $185.00

The Basic Rider Course is a building-block curriculum designed to introduce or reacquaint riders with the fundamental riding skills and traffic awareness to properly interact with other road users.

Instruction consists of familiarization with motorcycle controls and operation, through the basic riding skills of straight line riding, shifting, turning, and braking.   As the class proceeds, riders perform more advanced skills such as limited-space maneuvers, quick-stop drills, obstacle avoidance, and other exercises designed to build confidence and foster a positive mental attitude.  Successful completion of the BRC along with minimum scores on the knowledge and skill evaluations will earn a completion card that waives ALL testing at the drivers’ license office.

Part of the cost of the BRC is to provide you with a loaner motorcycle.  Please click (here) to view the different motorcycles that are available.  If you have your own bike and it meets the criteria set forth by MSF and the Florida Rider Training Program for training bike use, you may use it if you wish.  Please call for details.

Experienced Rider Course - $80.00

The Experienced Rider Course is a one-day class where students ride their own motorcycles in a closed-course environment and practice quick stops, limited space maneuvers, crossing/avoiding obstacles, etc. to reinforce good riding techniques for the  street.

We also discuss the effects of age, alcohol, and risk awareness in street situations.

To attend the Experienced Rider Course,  you MUST have your motorcycle endorsement or the temporary permit.  You will be asked to provide a copy of the license and/or endorsement.  You must also have current insurance on the motorcycle you will be riding.  You will be asked for proof of current insurance.

If you do only have your temporary permit, you may be able to test at the completion of the Experienced Rider Course. Successful completion of the ERC along with minimum scores on the knowledge and skill evaluations will earn a completion card that waives ALL testing at the driver's license office.
